Reserve credit
Before forwarding a request, we reserve enough credit to cover its maximum token usage.

Run your decision
Your request goes directly to the selected model provider. Usage comes from the provider response.

Pay for actual usage
Completed requests settle at the recorded token rate. Unused reserved credit returns to your balance.
If the provider outcome is uncertain, credit stays reserved for review. Check Activity before retrying with a new request key.
